I grew up in Stratford Road and Rodborough Fort was always the first thing you saw looking out across the valley from our house. We also spent many happy hours playing on the commons and around the fort and enjoyed sledging down the gullies in front when the weather was cold enough, like in 1963. Great to see so many pictures here, thanks for sharing them.
